The Design for Conversion was initiated by Arjan Haring and Jay de Groot, members of Chi Nederland, in 2008 with great success. In 2010 the Better Experience e.V. was founded in to bring the awesome concept to Germany, broadening the potential audience for the DfC conferences and helping Chi with populating the DfC community. The more, the merrier.

Since the beginning Chi Nederland has hosted several conferences:

• 1st DfC – Amsterdam – 2008
• 2nd DfC – Amsterdam – 2009
• 3rd DfC – The Mobile Edition – Amsterdam – 2009
• 5th DfC – New York City – 2010

Better Experience e.V. joined in 2010:

• 4th DfC – The Authenticity Edition – Cologne – 2010
• 6th DfC – Cologne – 2011 Upcoming on July the 1st
